Mower

Panter

The basic model of the Panter modular machine is the mower. The mower cuts high-grown and low-grown grass and any uncultivated land areas covered with weeds, nettles and one year old shrubbery sprouts. The RZS 70 mowing extension has a metal sheet cutting disk with three blades. A rotary steel housing on a ball bearing forms the bottom part of the disk. A special spreader is mounted above the disk. The mowing extenstion has a robust tube frame with a canvas cover to protect the operator. The spreading device and the cover prevent the grass from winding on in the mower. The disk has a slight forward inclination which adds to the quality of the stubble in that it prevents repeated cutting of the same grass stalk which is a common phenomenon with certain drum mowers. The disk is braked after the engine is switched off.
