Elegant and Agile BLP Mowers for Men and Women

BL, BLP and Tekton mowers are a suitable help where high or low grass is to be cut quickly and the user does not expect the machine to mulch, remove snow or other jobs. The main advantage of these mowers is their easy manipulation because they have a low weight and big wheels.

 

The physical effort needed to operate the mower is comparable to pushing a parambulator so that even women need not fear to work with the machine. The weight of the mower is half the weight of a comparable normal mower. The machine can be stored in limited space within seconds - simply loosen two screws and turn the handlebar over. The mower fits even to the smallest car and you need no help to load it. A number of customers use the BLP mower on their weekend cottages and carry it home by car. Or they mow grass every day to feed their cattle or rabbits and carry the mower on the barrow together with the fresh cut grass. The handlebar can be adjusted vertically for comfortable operation to meet everyone's preferences.

The low weight of the mower may be misleading as to the actual performance of the machine. The opposite is true: the cutting width is 60 cm which is more than most other single-drum mowers available on the market. Also, we mount four stroke engines of the well-known producers Briggs&Stratton and Honda with an output of 5.5HP that are generally mounted in small tractors for tilling or transportation of load up to 550 kg of weight. Hence it follows that such engines have a rather big backup capacity which positively influences their service life and reliability. We are introducing a new product - Tekton mower with Enduro engine and an output of 7 HP, pressure lubrication and oil filtering. This machine is intended for customers who require high performance engine. Theoretically, all BLP mowers are capable of mowing an area of 1600 m2, normal output with a 60-centimeter-high grass is approximately 800 m2. If the engine is set to the required output level (speed), the the gas is automatically regulated in dependence on load. The choke, speed and switch is controlled with a single lever on the handlebar.

BLP mowers are equipped with a cutting disk the design of which is similar to Panter machines. We use engine with low consumption that do not require additives. Lower consumption and considerably lower smell and quantity of the exhaust gas (emission) are remarkable especially in comparison with bush-cutters and other machines with two stroke engines. It is a common phenomenon in spring and in summer to hear the shrilling sound of garden machinery. With our mowers, you need no more than a few cutting sessions during the year, they are less noisy than other comparable mowers available on the market which will be appreciated not only by the owner but also by the neighbourhood. The mowers include no such mechanism that could become defect or cause problems. After a few hours of practice, the BLP mower is sure to become an inseparable aid in your work on condition you observe the instructions in the user manual. The properties of BLP mowers become evident for instance in comparison with quality brand bush cutters. The mower have at least three times higher performance, consume less fuel and their operation is considerably less demanding while their prices are comparable.

The BLP-60 mower has a modernized travel. If switched off the wheel are rotating independently and the mower can be easily pushed or turned. And vice versa, if the mower is started the wheels become interlocked and rotate in parallel. The interlock is important for cutting grass on slopes where otherwise the mower would constantly tend to turn downhill. The travel of the mower and the drive of the mowing disk are independent if you cross to another mowing place. During such transfer, the travel is switched on and the mowing disks are not rotating. And on the contrary, if you want to mow grass near trees, curbs and beds you can switch the travel off to mow with the disk rotating which is something other mowers seldom offer. This feature enables you to mow grass close to trees and fences so that you need not scythe those places or use a bush cutter. The mower is suitable for both small and large areas like gardens and grass fields, it has no limitation as to the actual surface area. Wheels have a steel disk, tyres are 35 mm wide. Tyres are inflated and have a air tube inside.

BLP-60 Tekton has a travel that is functionally identical with BLP-60. The difference is in the robust wheel with a V-shaped tread design for better work in hilly landscape and on uncultivated plots where the tyre may be punctured more often. The handle bar is equipped with and anti-vibration device.

BL- 60 without Travel

BL - 60

BL – 60 mower has no travel. Wheels have plastic disks, tyres have air tubes and are inflatable. This type of mower is recommended for smaller flat or slightly sloped areas. It is also suitable for areas covered with a number of trees, bushes, curbs and other obstacles. All BLP mowers have big wheels of 400 mm of diameter that allow extremely easy and smooth manipulation. BL mowers without travel use a plastic disk that has several times higher load capacity than is the total weight of the mower. This machine allows additional mounting of the travel in case of need, even if the customer decides for this solution several years later.
